The work of African moths is carried out on a totally voluntary basis, relying on the efforts of a few dedicated individuals and the generous efforts of contributors, who aid with identification and submission of data and photos. All this helps to grow the site and increase its status as a valuable natural history resource. While the efforts of the African Moths team have been given freely and will continue in this vane the project itself is reaching the stage where some fiscal input is required to really ensure that its findings and data be upheld and taken seriously for the long term.
